Milo's Third Birthday

It's been almost a month since Milo turned three and I'm finally ready to show what the event looked like... or at least what the boy got in the way of presents.

First of all, something to help Daddy haul the lawn clippings.

The first time we went to dump our wheelbarrows, Milo wheeled his load of pine cones and dumped it, then we put him and his new wheelbarrow in my big one and I wheeled them both home.

All right, what idiot thought it would be a good idea to buy a three-year-old a real bugle? Oh wait, that was me...

Milo also got a cool bike helmet, decorated with skull stickers and all sorts of unique bike stickers designed and illustrated by Mr. Scott Dickson, of SDE (Scott Dickson Enterprises) fame.

The best present, however, was from Grammy and Grampy: a real Lightning McQueen and Mack truck mega blocks set. Just look at the joy on his face, and he still plays with it almost every day.

And I just happened to catch him blowing out the candles. Happy Birthday Milo!
